"The Hidden Thought"

Well, it is said that it’s better to keep something left unsaid. There are so many things out there which we keep confined in our hearts, but, never dare to speak out. There are so many things we actually want to share, but, at last end up keeping that thought curdled deep inside our own self. Sometimes those banal thoughts are worth thinking because they make us happy. They revolutionize our perspective about prejudices.
We think too much at times,
Which in turn gives us nothing but thousands of unknown questions, the answers of which we don’t know! Struggling to find the answers people waste half of their life thinking about the irrelevant questions and the possible answers that doesn’t even matter.
There are some people who act diplomatically, they actually try to act but sometimes they forget to notice that their opponent may be smart enough then them to acknowledge what they actually mean.

There are some people whom you will meet, whom you will admire, but you won’t speak out because you are afraid. You won’t speak out because you are unsure about the outcomes. You won’t speak out because you know “it’s better to keep something left unsaid”. Because that’s just a hidden thought that no one except you knows.

"The Little Thing You Did"

You went past crossing my mind,
And I could do nothing
But, just wait and find;
As the only thing I remember was everything,
You never meant,
but although were kind.

The cold breeze gave me a shiver which ran down the spine,
That made me think quite once again,
Is it a dream?
Or is everything ever going to be fine?
Rubbing my eyes I woke up in the morning light.
Which gave me a reason to fight.

A reason; of thousand dreams,
A reason to forgive all the sins.
I never thought a day would come,
That would shine as bright as the sun.
With a realisation I left aside.
Thinking whatever will happen, will happen in its time.

A Day with a Stranger

Do you think it is necessary to stop yourself from speaking to a stranger?
A stranger who was sitting next to me made me realise the fact.  We all are selfish in our way, this is what I realised. He gave me an example. An example of attending school or college for the first time. He asked me "Did you know anyone on the first day of the class?" My answer was "No". He then said, parents who used to say don't speak to strangers, say nothing about it but why? It's something to wonder!
The stranger who was travelling with me said he was travelling penniless, without any friends, without any food just to explore India. He was so sweet and friendly that I felt a sort of connection with his words. He spoke about the true scenario of the places he travelled. Soon after talking with me, he started to talk to the driver about how his life was! Since how long is he is driving? Is he happy with it?
He questioned about the road, the pits and holes to the driver. Maybe he wanted to know more?
He told he has travelled 17 states till now and is really enjoying the journey. I was shocked to know the fact. But it was the reality. The truth in fact.
For a moment I thought he was a stalker. But he was nice. The way he talked to the driver made me realise it's true.
I wish every Indian could see and experience the true scenario of different regions.
I really feel privileged to travel with such a person. Hope he fulfils his wish and dreams.

The virtual image

She threw away the pieces of paper in the rain again. It was raining heavily. She cried like no one else could have and finally she got some courage and pulled out another paper and started drawing again. Was it just the beginning? Or an ending?
She filled the paper with the ink again of different colours. She went on drawing the picture that was always there in her mind. Apart from her mind, where she always used to had that virtual image, she wanted to make it with her own hands. The rain stopped, and finally her drawing too. It was there. Finally, she had put the virtual image of her mind in a paper.

Change in life

Should I say it was a dream?
Or a reality which is never meant?
Should I say it's not me?
Or perhaps the changed you?
I have learnt to be strong !
Not because you were wrong,
but for the changes i saw,
Which were never meant for me to bow.
Life has lots in its store,
and I want to explore more
For what I got wasn't enough
To get fit rough and tough !
Through the roads I'll travel
Silently, without anything to reveal,
Upholding my breath at the end of the journey
Without any fail or any regret.

Book Review of- "You are my reason to smile"

You are my reason to smile
Author- Arpit Vageria

"You are my reason to smile"
The title of the novel attracted me the most. There are few characters in the story; which makes it easy to recall 'who was who'.
Ranbir always desired to become an author. While, Adah wanted him to get a well paid job and settle with it. Ranbir loved Adah truly and can go at any extent for her.
Adah wasn't happy with the dream Ranbir had of becoming an author and kept on insisting him about a job.
Meanwhile, Ranbir's first novel gets published and instead of becoming happy for that, he was upset because of the small argument he had with Adah.
Pihu, Ranbir's first fan, was drawn towards him and wanted to live the way he had described in his debut novel. With time, Ranbir got to know her true nature of being so selfish. So, he left everything and went back to his old flat where he used to live with his roommate.
Pihu left Mumbai with a letter to Ranbir and they never ever tried to contact each other.
VJ, Pihu's roommate was a lesbian who was in love with Pihu and was the main reason of the distance that was being created between Ranbir and Adah. Which was revealed at the end of the story.
Adah was suffering from Depression psychosis, where she created her own imaginary world, where Reehan, her childhood friend was getting married and that she didn't want him to get married. She loved Reehan and wanted to spend the whole life with him.
Later, Ranbir was able to sort out everything and they lived happily together.
Pihu was totally out of the story after she left Mumbai.
Overall, it was a nice story.

Book Review of- "A Walk to Remember"

A Walk to Remember

Author- Nicholas Sparks

A Romance novel by Nicholas Sparks, "A Walk to Remember" is the story of two teens- Landon and Jamie. Landon Carter narrates the flashback story of his senior year in the late 1950s at Beaufort High in Beaufort, North Carolina, when he first discovers the power of love. 'Love' - the feeling which changes everyone.
Landon and Jamie, who were like to opposite poles but eventually fall in love with each other. But the happiness is short lived when Jamie confesses that she has very few days to live being afflicted with leukaemia. How they go through the ailment and loss together and how Landon makes every effort to fulfil Jamie’s wishes is what touches the chord with the readers. Its quite heart touching, how Landon took care of Jamie.
How will it feel when you get to know that your loved ones is going to die? How will it feel when you realise there is very less chance of survival? How will it feel when you hear all these from the person you love?
It's quite difficult to survive without the person you love . It's difficult. Just the thought of thinking about all these gives me goosebumps.
Read it to sense the helplessness one feels at the knowledge of impending loss.
It's a must read book and if you haven't read it yet, you should read it.

Overall rating- 4/5

The silent night

Who wouldn't want solace in life who is  broken from inside?
When life gets harder and there's little you know what's happening around. All you want is to stay alone. All you need is to sit somewhere alone and ponder deeply. Or else not to ponder anything, just stare at the sky filled with stars. It feels great to stare the stars isn't it? Many thoughts are shared and kept deep in the dark of the night when you have no one by your side to share with. Staring at the sky helps actually - 'to fight the loneliness'. Life is perfect that way.

When you give more time to yourself, you can take care of your broken heart. The broken pieces. It isn't easy to  join those pieces without leaving any scar. Life is something like that. People will come and stay by your side as long as they need you but, as soon as they are done with you they will leave. No matter what you think about them. They don't give a damn about it. May be some people are born that way, to hurt the feelings of other's.

Spend a little time of your's. All you need is to spend some time with your ownself to relax. To forget what happened for a moment and live peacefully. That's when you can find the missing pieces of your live. When you are alone and under the beautiful night sky, with zillion of stars twinkling, you will be able to think about your life; peacefully.

You can't handle some things in your life like- Whom you will meet tomorrow? Will you remain alive a day after? Or why everything happened in your life?
You can't smile everytime like an insane to show your are happy, inspite of the true feeling which is slowly eroding yourself from inside. So blithely.
You'll be thinking of the meaning of this life, probably why everything happened.  What adds value to it and many more. Take a minute, close your eyes and feel the peace for sometime. The stars will inspire you to seek new direction in life. The tranquility of the night will give you  better hope and the silent sky will teach you to embrace the value of life.

Book Review of- " Breaking Free"

                           Breaking Free
                      Author- Neha Nayak

This is the story of Noya, who chooses to calls off her wedding on the day of the marriage and decides to travel on her own. On this journey, she meets Ranbir who seems to be present everywhere. Thinking Ranbir as a stalker or someone sent by her parents to keep an eye on her, Noya tries to avoid him. However, whenever she finds herself in trouble, Ranbir is always there to help her. Gradually a bond develops between them and they become friends soon. While Ranbir started to develop feelings for her, Noya has some different plans. What are these plans? Well! You will have to read the book to know the answer of this question. The only thing I can tell you that the ending of the book will surprise you. While reading the book, you will also get to know the internal conflicts of both Noya and Ranbir. These internal conflicts run parallel with the external conflicts of the main story-line and add a different beauty to the overall plot.
The character of Noya, one of the central leads of this novel, has been developed well. She is a strong female protagonist. However, she is not a one-dimensional character. By highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of Noya, the author has tried to make this character believable. In addition to the strengths of Noya, the worries, flaws and vulnerability of this character not only make this character convincing, but also make readers to develop a bond with her. The character of Noya also throws light on different shades of womanhood. The chemistry between Noya and Ranbir has also been portrayed adroitly. This chemistry takes the story forward smoothly. Though the story has been narrated mainly from Noya’s point of view, the inclusion of Ranbir’s point of view from time to time works well in the main story-line.
While the author has depicted both personal and situational conflicts in the story skillfully; the emotional scenes could have been improved though. Love stories are not just stories of love. On the other hand, these are also the stories about frustration, disillusionment, duplicity, healing, joy, and, ultimately hope. In other words, love represents a range of emotions and I think it is important to capture them all if you are writing a love story. Though we find these elements in the main story-line, these could have been certainly used more effectively.
Overall it's worth reading !

The confined thought

Sometimes I wish I had never met you.
I wish; I had never talked to you.
Sometimes, I question myself - 'were you really worth of loving ?'

I never knew love would make me turn this way.
You were there everytime,
But, you left saying nothing.
Why suddenly everything changed?
Did you listen to my unspoken confession?
Did you feel the light in my eyes becoming dark?

May be you forget to realise how much I adore you.
Sometimes I question myself- 'were you worth of all pain and emptiness?'
Will you ever understand how much you were loved?

Every day, I breath through the chaos of my inner self.
And I find you -"the changed you" in that.
Those broken piece of you, I have kept alive in my misty dreams.
I keep telling myself, that you are gone,
Far far away.
But when I start writing,
My poems seems to call your name again and again.

I splatter the ink over the pages.
Tear those pages, which make me remind you.
With no other option, I hold those torn pieces,
and cry aloud thinking you will hear it.
My pen demands the love I deserve and my mind says that you are gone.
But when my heart pictures you,
It gives all the answer that - 'you were always worth it'.

Small little moments

As the sun was going down,  I quickly paced my way to my room. With lots of stuffs in my hand, it wasn't possible for me to walk anymore. I was exhausted and all in sweat.
It was a hot summer day, I went out for shopping as it was one of my close friend's birthday.
I decided to take rest for sometime before I start to head towards my room again. While I was sitting on a bench, I saw a young couple conversing with each other. They laughed together, perhaps at some jokes that they might have cracked. It looked beautiful how they were spending time with each other.

Life shouldn't be always about fights and silly quarrels you had , but the small moments of togetherness where you can sit and laugh at each other.
There will be moments when everything would seem blurry. But, instead you should focus on the other side which makes you feel happy instead of being sad.

Book Review of- " Everyone has a story"

Everyone has a story
Author- Savi Sharma

"Everyone has a story"- is the story of Meera, who was struggling to find a story for her novel ,
Vivaan, who wants to explore and travel to different places in the world.
Kabir, who was passionate to start his own café and Nisha, who was left heartbroken by her boy friend.
The story is beautifully spun in the web of these four characters.
Meera used to search for her story everywhere but couldn't get one, until the day she heard Vivaan's answer on the author's talk at the café . She thought she got her story and it was Vivaan. Finally she encountered him, and asked almost everything about him but was not satisfied with whatever he said.
Later, they went on meeting each other and sharing their views on life and different perspectives. In the mean time, Meera was writing her novel on Vivaan. They shared a bond which neither of them noticed.
One day Vivaan left, he escaped for travelling to different parts of the world without biding anyone goodbye. Meera was left heartbroken, when she found Vivaan nowhere with a little knowledge that he might went to explore the world. She went to Vivaan's office with Kabir, where he used to work as a chief manager to know about his whereabouts but, was again disappointed as Vivaan left his job giving a resignation letter.
After months, when Vivaan returned from his tour, he regrets about what he did
He went to café Kabir where he met Nisha, who explained everything that was going on. He felt sorry for everything.

The incomplete story which was written by Meera was yet to be completed after his return. Meanwhile, Vivaan spoke about his past, 2015 - "Radha" who was to be his bride, who didn't reached on the day of wedding and was later  found to be raped and murdered. Meera left café kabir, with anger and agony.
She fell from a steep step and was admitted in a hospital. Later she went to coma and after months she recovered when Vivaan read the story written by her to her.
At last her novel gets published and she was in the same place talking with people being an author at café kabir.
(But the question is that -nothing about Meera's parents or friends were mentioned. while she was in ICU for months no one came to see her? doesn't  she have any relatives? friends? Or family members ?)

Experience that teaches

It's quite strange isn't it ? Thinking about the past and going back through the same phase you were once, and living it in the same way you lived that moment in your life. It's quite strange that people become sad whenever they recall some harsh and painful part of their journey in life.

But whatever the past be,  the reason and their pain be, the fact is that - nobody have any control over their past; nor do they have any control over the future. Crying over the past again and again for the same instance which happened isn't worth. Sobbing over the past will give you nothing except pain.

Just take an example, if you try to crack the same joke again and again, the intensity of fun in your joke will reduce; and after repeating the same joke, for about 4 to 5 times, a time will come when nobody would even laugh at your joke.

Is it that hard to erase those phase of your life? Is it that hard to move on in life ? The answer lies within yourself. Don't break yourself just for the sake of those harsh memories of your life. It's hard, but also possible. Try to be happy with whatever experience life teaches you, because at the end, it is you who will become much more stronger because of those experiences of your life.

Certain uncertainties

It seems like it was yesterday when we started going school, holding the hand tightly in mumma's hand or enjoying the journey in papa's lap.
Time flew without even making us realise that we are becoming mature enough to decide the right things for ourself, there was a time when we were afraid of going school because of the teacher's scolding, or due to our incomplete homeworks. We used to make excuses for not going to school to our parents. Sometimes we are so good at acting that they think we are really telling the truth about our stomach ache, headache or fever, even though we know that we were lying.
But as soon as we became grown up, we began to understand the meaning of friends, teachers, school and education, appreciating  the fact that we have a great bunch of friends with whom we can share our secrets, play pranks and many more. There was a time when we used to hate a teacher because we got beaten by him once with a scale for not doing the work and usually bunking the next classes of that particular teacher just because we were afraid that he might scold us again.
With time, everything changes. After coming in higher classes we had a crush on a teacher and that made us love that particular subject taught by that particular teacher. A crush on a teacher makes a student love Monday more than Friday, which is one of the reason for good attendance of each and every student who had a crush. Teasing and making fun of each other, were the most dramatic and enchanting moment, which now are the reason of our smile whenever we recall those moments. Time flies away, it has no pause or rewind button in it, nor does it have any restore or delete button. Life goes on, teaching us and making us learn at each and every turns,  along with the lessons which it has stored for us.
